New EDA research project to improve resilience of cold weather operations

On April 23, European Defence Agency’s Steering Board green-lit the launch of a new research project aimed at studying ways and means of improving the operational outfit and equipment of Armed Forces operating in extreme cold and icy weather conditions.  The project has a duration of three to four years. Republic of Korea Navy's last upgrades on Chang Bogo Class attack

Republic of Korea Navy currently operates 9 Chang Bogo-class (modified German Type 209) submarines acquired between 1993 and 2001. Modified NATO exercise Spring Storm kicks off in Estonia

Allied forces have kicked off live-fire training in Estonia, as part of the annual exercise Spring Storm. Led by Estonia, Spring Storm tests the integration between NATO troops and the Estonian Defence Forces (EDF), strengthening their ability in times of crisis. Chinese army ZTQ15 or Type 15 light tank now deployed in Tibet region

According to pictures published on the China Defense Blog on May 02, 2020, the Chinese-made ZTQ15 or Type 15 light main battle tank is now in service with the 54th Heavy Armor Combined-Arms Brigade, Tibet Military Area Command.
